My "saddle area" STILL hurts from doing that race last year! :-)
On a serious note, its a beautiful course and a very well run event. I highly recommend it.

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Sunday race
Sunday May 26 you can complete the Lewis and Clark 24 Hour Ultra TT. Riders head out starting at 7:30 am Sat. May 25 and finish on Sunday. That means 7+ hours of racing on a Sunday! Of course you can get it all in on a Saturday by choosing to race the 12 division. Teams are welcome too. Check it out.
It's not about who comes in 1st but who goes farthest! No drafting just riding....
Where: The race will begin at the Hockinson Middle School. Racers will wend their way over rolling hills and beautiful farmland to the Washougal River Road and then east on the Lewis & Clark Highway through the majestic Columbia River Gorge and past the famed Bonneville Dam. Along the way they will have magnificent views of Mt. Hood and the Cascade mountain range. At the Carson Hot Springs riders will turn north up the Wind River Highway to the moderate 3,000 foot climb of Old Man Pass before screaming down Curly Creek Road to the Swift Reservoir. Be sure to look up at the breathtaking view of Mt. St. Helens. On their way back to the finish line they will be mesmerized by the color of the Lewis River, and soak up the lush, dense forest of the Mt. St. Helens National Monument. How: The long loop is 144 miles and at least 6,600 feet of climbing. The short loop is a mere 10 miles.
