The good sportsmanship was obvious throughout the Junior Field at Estacada Time Trial.

The flaggers told me about 10 year old Junior Taylor Dunn. Taylor stopped to help 11 year-old Jacob Chilenski who's pedal had come off. Taylor then went to the turn around to ask if they had a wrench. By that time Jacob had arrived at the turn around where he put his pedal back on.

Then there was Kenny Bossen who rode past older brother Ricky who had flatted. Kenny finished, turned around and rode back out to give his wheel to Ricky so Ricky could finish.

Then there was Jacob Chilenski who rode past cousin Ellie Bossen who had flatted, he finished, then turned and rode back to Ellie and gave his bike to Ellie so she could finish.

These kids all had a good time---Thanks to all of the adults, good sports themselves, who helped make this possible. Without adults racing we could not afford to put on races for the juniors.
