Mt. Hood Cycling Classic

Dear OBRA and WSBA Members,

It is with great excitement that we announce the signing of Castelli Cycling as our new presenting sponsor of the 2013 Gorge Roubaix! This new event run out of The Dalles will be made up of country roads and sections of gravel for a true Roubaix style race on March 24th. Racing kicks off starting at 10:00 AM with the Pro 1-2 Men’s race. After the race is done the party moves to the Clock Tower Ales Brewpub who will be hosting the official Gorge Roubaix party and awards ceremony. Music, and a number of old Spring Classics events will be playing on their movie screen. Best of all each and every rider who finishes the event will receive a commemorative pint glass and their first beer on the house. Finishers medals are so tiring so we thought what better way to toast your completion of the event than with a super cool Gorge Roubaix pint. You must finish to receive your award. No beer for losers.

Now the biggest prize of all. Castelli will be producing 6 custom winners jerseys for the event. You can not buy these you have to earn them through sweat, suffering, and having mad riding skills. In addition we will be offering a special commemorative jersey for purchase by the mortals who do not earn one of the winners jerseys.
