Bottom line, get a professional bike fit from a fitter with extensive experience.

Wow. I’m not a doctor, but that seems extremely aggressive  from a treatment standpoint. I’d get at least one or two other opinions before even considering breaking your leg to “fix” it. That’s sounds medieval to me.

The options I received were either to pursue orthotics to deal with the foot position - but this would not necessarily relieve the knee pain OR I can see an orthopedic doctor about possibly getting surgery to break the tibia and reset the direction it is causing the ankle to point. Would it be best to try and get a surgery approved to deal with the tibia or deal with the foot and possibly need knee replacement surgery down the road. Thanks,

For years I have used Speedplay pedals to accommodate outtoeing but recently I have had to add wedges to the right shoe to deal with the foot not being flat.

I have been having some right knee pain that a physiatry doctor has described as being caused by the knee twisting as it bends.

Thanks,
Brian
