Portland Velo would like to announce that we have taken over the planning
for the 2013 Ankey Road Race. The race date is going to be moved to
properly plan and prepare to give all of the OBRA racers another great race
on the calendar.

The new date for the race will be June 22. Yes, a road race in the summer!
The OBRA calendar has been updated and we are working on a flyer and will
have all the information up soon.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me, but we will have
more information on race categories offered, prizes, etc. coming soon!

The promoters had backed out but Mike Stockton and I are working to
get it going again- currently waiting to hear back from the railroad.
(don't worry- tracks are perpendicular to the road)

Will likely stage south of Salem in the town of Jefferson. Goes
around Ankeny Wildlife Refuge.

I see the registration is open for Kings Valley already, and hope Ankeny opens really soon?
