So I bought a Cross Check because I thought racing cross would be fun and I wanted to use it for some rides in Forest Park. The frame is about 16 months old, everything else on the bike is 6 months old. I'm really trying to get a new road bike up and running, so here's what's on the bike.

58 cm Cross Check - black
Shimano XT hubs 32 hole laced to DT Swiss TH 540 and 45mm Ritchey Speed Max tires.
Race Face Evolve double crank, single ring 40t with bash guard 175 length
XT 9 speed RD with Deore trigger shifter and 12-34 cassette
XT brake levers with Paul Shirty canti brakes and Kool-Stop wet weather brake pads
Deda Zero 1 stem with Easton Vice riser bars and Lizard Skin Peaty grips

There's well over the $950 I'm asking on this bike, but I just don't use it. It was fully built in October, used in one cross race and I never got it out to any trails. Just road it to and from work. Something like that for just commuting seems silly. Let me know if you have any interest. I can also send you photos.
