DISC BRAKE CX/ROAD BIKES in USAC RACES?

Hey Grant,

I believe it was summer 2011 that UCI "legalized" disc brakes for
Cyclocross sanctioned events. I don't know about road - thought I've heard
a few people (unreliable sources...) say they're not legal on road bike
races. Why not? Who knows. Does anybody understand them?

Since UCI legalized them for CX; I'm assuming USAC followed along and their
legal in USAC sanctioned events.

Hello OBRA land! Can anyone tell me for certain if disc brake bikes are allowed to be raced in USAC CX & Road races. I know UCI hasn't approved them yet. But I didn't see any language in the rule book that excluded disc brakes for USAC

I'm moving to Utah the end of the month, I hope my new Ridley X-Fire disc wasn't the wrong direction!
