Moving to SF and need to sell the Vanagon.

1986 Volkswagen Vanagon (originally listed as 1987, but is actually 1986)
$3400 OBO
- Water cooled, 4 cylinder engine
- Manual 4speed trans
- ceiling mounted AC
- seating for 7
- all back rows fold down to make awesome queen size bed sleeping area
- Engine rebuild in 2006

THE GOOD
- Coolant system work done recently to fix one of the big, more
expensive metal pipes and one of the hoses that runs back through the
heater. Fixed, tested, and works awesome now.
- Pretty great shape, have driven it to bike races, MTBing, and to
work at least once a week for the past year.
- All locks & ignition work and use the same key
- New stereo and front speakers install this year (can take CDs, USB,
or AUX cable input)
- Come with Thule rack, towers, 3 bike trays, and 2 wheel holders (not
the Yakima system pictured)
- It's an '86 Vanagon!!!

THE BAD
- a few minor cracks in windshield (they have not gotten worse as far
as I can tell)
- the dash speedo occasionally doesn't work (I tap it and it starts working)
- the dash tachometer doesn't work (I haven't tried to fix, but isn't
currently working)
- previous owner swiped a cement pole (you can see there's a dent in
the slider door)
- was also slightly swiped on rear corner (bumper is missing a plastic piece)
- It's an '86 Vanagon...

This is a great Van for running errands, heading out for an adventure
for the day, or camping overnight! It will need some work over time,
like any used car.

Additionally it comes with paperwork for basically every service ever
done to it, from oil changes to engine rebuild. (Mostly done at a
local place in Vancouver, WA)
