I hope this isn't a waste of this list's bandwidth, but I have a request
about fat bikes. I live in Waldport and I'm intrigued at the idea of buying
one of these for use near where we live. There's a chance we'd use it for
snow and other possibilities, but the beach is the key.

I don't think I have to sell anyone on the soul cleansing effect of being
on the beach, and I think we have relatively long runs hear north in the
Newport direction and south towards Yachats

Does anyone have a recommendation on such a bike? I believe Surly has at
least a couple of models and I've come acrosss others on the net, but
nothing beats an individual's recommentation
