Don't forget that hot spots affected final placings in many of today's fields.

This is just a reminder that there was a hot spot in every field that raced yesterday. Hot spots went 5 deep and earned those 5 riders bonus points. If you think your position in the finish is off by a couple of places, please stop and consider the idea that someone behind you at the finish may have earned those bonus points, which likely resulted in an improvement in their overall position.

Of course, feel free to contact me if you have any concerns with your placing. I just thought I would put this reminder out there since I have received a large number of emails on this very topic.
