This is a long shot for those who are aged between 70-80, but we are conducting a lung research study in at the U of O. If you, or a parent are fit the healthy, non smoking age criteria and are interested in participating, please email me for more information!
Below is the broad outline of what will happen. Please let me know if you or someone you know might be interested in volunteering for.
Study Visit includes:
A. Basic heart function tests.
B. Measurement of the amount of oxygen in your blood at rest.
C. Basic lung function tests.
D. Exercise on a stationary bicycle
E. Simulated ascent to altitude
$85 compensation paid upon completion
