These are 3x and bomb proof - - these would make awesome commuter wheels
Its a great wheelset, but I bought these as training wheels for my cx bike and never used them off road. I did mount them and use them on two training rides from PDX to Sandy Have since moved on to a disc bike and cant find a use for these.
