I just wanted to stress the importance of getting a license plate when you have any kind of “crazy dude” encounters, no matter what the situation at hand may be. Reporting the incident and getting that person/vehicle documented in the police computer system is really important. I don’t know what Oregon’s police computer systems are like, but in Washington there is history of when/where/why that license plate has been ran or reported. If that person was out-of-line in this particular incident, you can bet he’s likely had other encounters of misconduct. Get a plate and report those kinds of incidents so “crazy dudes” are appropriately documented.
