I am replacing the tires on my track bike and my new tire for my front
tri-spoke doesn't sit very wheel at the valve stem.
To me it looks like I should widen the hole where the aluminum rim is so
that it can sit tighter to the rim in general. I can't image I can do much
hard as long as I am careful, but thought I would check to see if the masses
have ever done anything like this before. I am just planning to widen the
top part of the whole by a mm or two and two or three mm deep.
Has anyone done something like this before, or am I being too anal about
things?
