Don't know if this has already been answered for you (I get the daily
digest), but CCC does take old frames and parts for recycling. They also
sell the parts out of their dumpster from 12pm - 2pm on Sundays.

My old Mongoose steel hybrid bit the dust when I had an epic crash. I
threw away the bent fork and stripped the parts for a commuter but now I
have this frame.

I rode it for many years and even raced CX on it. It has a high bottom
bracket, clearance for 35mm tires.

Who can I give this too? Anyone doing an art project? Does Community
Cycling Center take this kind of thing?
