Jennifer, this could be interesting, but I'd be a somewhat unlikely
candidate, so wanted to reach out quickly to see if this is worth pursuing.
I'm an older gentleman, 62, and I work for Intel near the Hillsboro
airport. I used to live in Beaverton and later in Hillsboro, but a couple
of years ago I was allowed to telecommute from the Oregon coast.
However, they have just rescinded that policy and they're insisting workers
come into the office. My direct manager is trying to give me a break by
making this a 3-day, 2-night commitment. This means if I were to do this,
I'd be gone more often than with you.
I suspect I would tend to be in the bedroom and not socializing much. I
would probably have my own TV set and would hope there is room for a small
desk so I could work in the evenings. I work very long hours for Intel.
It sounds like there'd be one main entrance to the apartment. How many
bathrooms are there and how are they shared?
I hope I'm not wasting your time. Please feel free to reply as briefly as
you wish or not at all. I'm still puzzling over what to do
thanks and regards, Jim Ryan
