My apologies if you already read this. I got some emails back stating that this was cut off because of spam devices and to resend it. My sincere apologies if your spam devices are set up to filter emails like this and it some how got through.

Good Morning OBRA Members!

I have two updates on the Mt. Hood Cycling Classic.

Lodging

Lodging is filling up fast, it is important to book your rooms now. Cooper Spur Mountain Resort (race headquarters) has everything but the honeymoon cabin and the log home rented out. There are still 10 rooms available at our other lodging sponsor the Best Western Hood River (see MHCC web site for details), but those rooms are only blocked until April 30th and then they will be given away if not reserved. If you book at Best Western please make sure and tell them that you are in for the race otherwise you will be told they have no available rooms. You will also receive a 10% discount. Race results will be promptly posted at these two lodging establishments through out the race. If these establishments get booked and you need lodging assistance drop me an email and I will try my hardest to locate lodging accommodations for you. Please do not wait until the last second.

Women's Categories

Okay ladies here is the deal. If we receive at least 15 entries from CAT 4 women we will score you separately. That means all women will race together but CAT 4 women will be scored separately. In addition we will give you a $750 cash prize purse. That is right $750 cash prize purse for just 15 women!

Good Luck to everyone out at the Columbia Plateau Stage Race this weekend. It is going to be another great event and the weather forecast is looking good. Temps in the mid-60's with partly cloudy conditions. Mild conditions for hot racing! I hope to see all of you in May

Sincerely,

Chad Sperry
