Thank you Ryan. Hopefully everyone else will emulate you.

I wanted to mention that some of the riders felt that they could throw water
bottles out into the brush or along the side of the road. This is actually
'littering' and can be a disciplinary action. And it is just down right
wrong.

Massive kudos to Ryan Weaver for his "steward of the land" act yesterday at
BB1. Ryan picked up an empty beverage can he found in front of his parking
spot and transported to a more environmentally friendly location.

You might not have won the race yesterday Ryan but you are a winner in my
book.

Ryan is a class act. I once saw him shepherd a gaggle of baby geese across
a busy freeway putting his personal safety at risk. Later on the same ride
he helped an elderlay lady cross the street.

In his spare time he rolls bandages for the red cross.
