PDW Omnium BBQ, Schedule & Junior Category Added

A few updates here for the Portland Design Works Omnium this Sunday, August 2nd.

We've added a Junior category for both the men and women and will hope to see plenty of the kids out on the track. Registration for the Juniors will be $5.

The weather is looking fantastic for Sunday with a high in the seventies. There's a window of clear weather for a few days before and after so we're looking pretty good on that front!

Registration will open at 10am and racing will begin at 11am, preregistration will be open until midnight Saturday night. I'll have a Square card reader at registration so you'll be able to pay with a credit card.

Remember that Portland Design Works will be out with the barbecue making food for all of the spectators (and riders that may not be as concerned with adding additional race weight). We'll have beverages for everybody as well. We'd love to see more spectators at the event so drag your friends and family out to the track so that they can see what you spend all of your time and money on. Seriously though, we're trying to make this the most spectator friendly track event of the season.

Senior Women
Cat 4 Women
Senior Men
Cat 3 Men
Cat 4/5 Men
Masters 35+ Men
Junior Women

We will split the Cat 1/2/3 women and the Cat 4/5 men if the fields
large enough. The Masters Men will also be scheduled in a manner to
racing in the Senior Men field as well.

There will be equal payout for the Senior Women/Men fields. Payout will be a minimum $150 purse for each of these fields, if the fields are larger than 20 total riders, the purse will increase $15 with each additional entry.

$15 entry for the omnium, $5 for the Juniors.
