William Laubernds
Tuesday PIR is pleased to announce we will once again be running the David
Oliphant Memorial June Series. For those of you that don't know, David
Oliphant was a beloved member of the OBRA racing community that passed away
from cardiac arrest at PIR. In an effort to honor his life Tuesday PIR, the
Oliphant family, and Donate Life Northwest came up with the David Oliphant
Memorial Series.
This series is a team competition that awards $1000 CASH to the top 3 teams
from the 1/2/3 and 3/4 race. The top three racers from each team will be
awarded points and the team with the most points at the end of the series
wins the cash (this cash purse is in addition to the HUB Hopworks gift
certificates already offered).
1/2/3s
1st - $300
2nd - $200
3rd - $100
3/4s
1st - $200
2nd - $150
3rd - $50
Also for the month of June, Donate Life NW will be our at PIR with a bag
check option. Their tent will be located across from registration and they
will hold your bag for you while you race.
The Oliphants and Donate Life Northwest are graciously giving $1000 cash to
make this series happen. You have the opportunity to give as well. Visit
www.donatelifenw.org to find out how you can give someone the leadout to
life. As a team, we can keep people alive.
We would also like to thank the Oliphant Family, Donate Life Northwest,
Legacy Memorial Hospital, and Jeff Mitchem for all their time, donations,
and support to make this series possible.
