Thom Batty, one of our local MTB racers and a good friend of mine will be racing the Tour Divide - departing from Banff on June 14th and riding down to Antelope Wells, NM. There is a going-away party this upcoming Friday evening celebrating this adventure.

There will be some beer being supplied, and you're welcome to bring snacks, etc if you'd like. There's no roller races, it probably won't get too out of control - but if you've ever seen the movie "Ride the Divide" or wondered what it would be like to ride a mountain bike for days on end - this would be the place to do it.
