Hello OBRA,
Just wanted to send out a quick Mary's Peak update.

First, we're absolutely thrilled to be putting this race on again.
Logistically, it's tricky since we have to work through three permitting
offices (OBRA, USFS and ODOT). We did it, we're stoked, and we hope you all
come out and ride up the Queen of the Coast Range and beat your personal
best, test your climbing legs in prep for MHCC or Baker City, or just come
out and support a cycling event up a national treasure (Mary's Peak).

Weather on the summit looks warm so Corvallis Cyclery, Inc, will be hosting
a recovery/refreshment tent at the peak. We also plan to host the Podium on
the summit this year (yes, putting a little pressure on the officials for
this). If the weather doesn't allow this, we'll reorganize on the fly.

We will shuttle (1) 1-gallon zip locks to the top if you would like a
jacket or specific nutrition after the event.

We cannot close the road to the summit and a few of you have asked if it's
okay to have friends drive to the top for a post-race picnic. The short
answer is yes, but we suggest sending people up the mountain before the
first riders go off since the road is fairly narrow. If you are staying the
night to race the TTT, we highly recommend contacting Spencer at the Hilton
in Corvallis. His group is sponsoring prizes for the event and have really
been a thrill to work with.

Private off street parking will be near the staging area at Botkin Rd. See
event web site for directions. It will be on private property so please
show respect to the property owners and OBRA while you are there. It is a
different location than last year, so check the map before you arrive.

*Registration closes June 6th at 11:59pm*. If you need a number, find the
help desk and a temporary OBRA number will be assigned.

Contact me directly if you need further guidance.

Thanks to all the great sponsors who have shown interest in supporting this
OBRA TT Cup event: Corvallis Cyclery Inc, Vertebrata Chiropractic,
HotFootPhoto, Upper Echelon Fitness, Hilton Garden Inn, Trailhead Coffee
Roasters.
