And always yield the right of way to the descender at Sandy.
For a good long climb with some steep sections, and a killer descent, hit Post Canyon. Park at the bottom of Seven Streams and ride that up to the gravel road. Take the gravel road up to Mitchell Ridge (top of the Super D Course). Ride sweet, sweet trail all the way back. It is close to 3k in climbing, I believe.

One of my favs is to head out to Sandy Ridge (EARLY, read trailhead 6am or so) and climb the entire dowhill.
Do this:
Follow road to bottom of Hide and Seek, take a left and climb H&S.
At the junction of 338 take a left.
At the junction of Quid Pro, take a left.
Part way up Quid pro, after the first (in this direction) rock garden, take a left on communication breakdown.
It's 6.5 miles, and a great climb.
NOTE: DO NOT TRY THIS in the middle of the day. EARLY morning or night ride only as these are heavily traveled downhill trails.
