Pickett's Charge! is comming up this Sunday the 23rd of June. The course is
largely the same as last year but we added some extra double track to the
start to help spread things out a bit more before hitting the fabulous
single track. From the start you will have 3.7 miles of double track with
284 feet of climbing. It's going to be a real fast and safe start. We come
in to single track on the last section of Dinah Moe Humm before entering at
the top of Tiddlywinks. We follow Tiddlywinks all of the way down to the
bottom of Funner and ride up Funner to Wanoga Snow Park. That will be the
finish for juniors and beginners. The rest of us will be taking the
traditional Tiddlywinks trail from Wanoga to do a second slightly shorter
lap with more singletrack.
The first lap (beginner/junior course) is 14 miles with 1350 feet of
climbing and the second lap is 11.5 miles with 1200 feet of climbing, so
the long course is now 25.4 miles with 2546 feet of climbing.
