If you happened to ride Crater Lake this weekend (a portion of the rim road was closed to cars, yet open to bikes and peds for the first time ever), please let the park know how awesome this was. (it really was.) I talked with the rangers as I was leaving and filled out a comment card; they said that things like this make a big difference in evaluating "was it worth it."

I was going to scan that so you all could print and mail, but they have an email link at the bottom of the link below—much more convenient, and hopefully this will have the same effect.

Even if you couldn't go, and you just think it is a great idea (and you should!), please take a sec and shoot them a note. Lots of people were out there and hopefully they'll do it every year.
