Hey all,

So I dumped it pretty hard on the first lap at Mt. Hood (broke helmet, grade 1 concussion, good contusion and trail rash). I want to say a big THANK YOU to the medical team out there that patched me up after I came in after doing my second lap (didn't realize helmet was broken) and seeing lots of "new" terrain after the crash area. Kris Schamp was also really cool about checking in on me - much appreciated!

If anyone was out there tailing me and knows what happened, I'd like to hear it if there's much beyond "went fast, crashed hard." If anyone helped me back up, I'd also like to send a thank you out since I really don't remember how I got back on the bike. I'm missing about 10-15 minutes until I caught up with very nice lady named Alayna (I think) who commiserated up the switchbacks with me.
