Huge thanks for you and your teams efforts yesterday Jeff, it was a grand
day with some very good racing. Montinore is a very, very good course.
Hard to believe that’s the last OBRA rr of 2013?

Thanks,

*Registration*. Online registration closes Friday at 5 pm. Day-of-Race
Registration and Rider Sign-in opens at 8 am in the Montinore Estates
Tasting Room.

*Volunteers*. We have a few spots available for both morning and afternoon
shifts. Compensation is free entry or $25/shift. Lunches and drink
provided. Please reply if interested.

*Course Condition*. The pavement is in excellent condition. Corners will be
swept by race day.

*The Plumlee Climb*. Riders will have both sides of the road on the climb.
Course marshals will be in place at the top of the climb to prevent cars
from descending while groups are climbing. Riders outside the caravan
(dropped riders) should stay as far to the right as possible and proceed
with caution. The Strava climbing segment (.8 miles, 4.8% average grade
and 194 feet of elevation gain) can be viewed here:
http://app.strava.com/segments/627339.

*The Plumlee Descent*. This course segment is narrow with no center line.
It is not possible to close it entirely to traffic due to the large number
of driveways. Though Course Marshals and Lead Vehicles will be instructed
to clear the road of civilian traffic as groups descend, all riders shall
stay as far to the right side of the road as possible and descend with
caution.
