Joe Bike's grand opening/five-year anniversary party is Friday, July 12, from 6-9 pm right outside our new shop on the Lincoln Avenue bike route at 39th/Cesar Chavez. OBRA members are welcome. Come and get to know our racing team as well as our staff, friends, and community. This is also a welcoming party for all those involved in the Disaster Relief Trials, a 40-mile cargobike nonrace that starts at OMSI the following morning (see shift2bikes.org for details). As part of the DRT contingent, FEMA will be at our party, and everybody knows good times are to be had by all whenever the US Government arrives, right? Rumor has it Austin Horse, who did the actual riding in Premium Rush, will be there too. Food and drinks provided. Families welcome.
