Unless you really want to meet an auditor, you are playing with fire. For
example, to be deducted, space must be an entire room totally dedicated to
the business, not a corner of a garage or a desk in a bedroom. There are
similar requirements for clothing, etc.

On the other hand, it is possible that your income is low enough so the tax
agencies are not likely to bother, going after bigger targets.

when i was a courier i deducted everything i could get my ands on...and
more. deducted a percentage of space in my apartment for bikes, tools, gear,
etc. vitamins, wool socks, a percentage of food (that might have been
pushing it) and i would ask my friends for their bike shop reciepts. i went
a little off the deep end but as a business owner i'm sure you know all
about 1099's.
