Morning Everyone!

First off - just spoke with the Chief Judge (Misty) and results will be listed shortly.

What an interesting day! I would have never imagined in a million years what we walked into yesterday, but like in true friends fashion, you all showed up!

So just to recap what happened yesterday. Linn County allowed Cycle Oregon with 2000 plus riders - to be on the same roads as our event. After meeting with the executive director with Cycle Oregon, we determined how to make things work. It wasn't easy but I think we got it to together. I apologize for all the confusion, but I will be meeting with Linn County on Monday to ensure that this doesn't happen again.

Thank you to the all cyclist who came out to support the event. With the Cycle Oregon cyclist, armada of farm vehicles and serious head winds - you all ROCK!

Thank you to my OBRA officials: Scott, Misty, Dean and Melissa. Nothing works without you! Thank you for your time and support!

Thank you to Bonnie (the greatest medical support ever). I worked with Bonnie during Heiser Farms and knew then - that this is the person I wanted to work our event. With everything going on yesterday, not only did she treat some wounds, but she stepped up and helped keep the finish line clear. Thank you so much for your support!

Thank you to the Oregon TT Cup Committee for choosing our event to be included on the TT Cup schedule.

Cycling events don't happen without volunteers - but all of mine are rock!

Joe Rothery - was scheduled to race Master 50+, but with a concern on the race course decided to make sure people were aware and skip the race. Joe had been training for the race to weeks and knew the course well. I just wanted to personally thank him for his support of the event, his support of OBRA and his decision to help keep the riders safe over racing the event. (Side note: Joe's wife - Darlene showed up and helped out at a critical time when our racers were coming at the finish! Thanks so much!)

Ron Sines and John Osborne - Anytime I needed anything from you both - you are always there. Thank you for taking over yesterday when I needed to deal with the Cycle Oregon situation. You are the best!

Brenda - The woman who you can always call in a bind. Thank you for being a great friend and helping us find three great people to support the event at the last possible hours. I can always depend on you!

Raj - You were a last minute corner marshall, and stayed after to help breakdown the course! THANK YOU!

Last, but not least - my wife Shannon. She just arrived from London at about 2:00AM that morning. She came out with smiles, she kept me in balance through a very difficult morning and I just wanted her to know that I appreciate her and love her for all her support.
