Hi all,
I'm selling my rain bike frameset, with a few extras. It's a sweet ride, but just a little too small for me.
Details:
50 cm top tube
50 cm seat tube
73.5 degree seat angle
Eggplant paint job
Canti brake bosses
Would probably clear 700x32 tires, but won't clear tires that fat with knobs. Clears 28s with fenders. Paint is in average shape for it's age, with many nicks here and there. It's got a 1" steerer, so it's definitely at least 15 or so years old. According to the man himself, it was built prior to his move to the East Coast.
Included is:
- A 1 year old Wound Up fork with a stainless steel steerer tube, 47 mm rake, and eyelets.
-The original straight-blade threaded fork. This fork has damage to the steerer. The steerer will need to be replaced if it is going to be used again. Chris Igleheart now works out of PDX again, he'd be who I'd ask to help out with this if I wanted to get it fixed.
-Hammered 37 mm metal fenders, fitted pretty damn well with double stays up front. these didn't rattle. Ever.
-The silver Chris King headset, currently fitted. Also includes extra parts to convert it back to threaded so it will work with the original fork, too.
-42 mm width Specialized branded Nitto heat treated bars. Classic bend. 26.0 clamp suits the frame proportionally.
-135 mm stem.
-Planet X unbranded Canti Brakes. Slick adjustment hardware.
Picture of bike built up is here (remember, you don't get all those parts, just what is listed above.)
