Good Morning Fellow OBRA members!

A couple of last minute options for lodging.

* Hood River Inn has one more room left for this event. It is a single queen bed with a river view. Be sure and tell them you are part of the MHCC or you will be told they are booked that weekend.

* One of the riders registered for the race has a condo booked at Cooper Spur Mountain Resort. He is looking for 3 additional riders who are looking for accommodations and would like to split the bill. You would be looking at roughly $40-45 a night and that would give you your own room. You can contact Leo Porreco via email Leo.Po-@providence.org if you are interested. The resort is very plush with 4 hot tubs on the grounds, tennis courts, and restaurant were they will be serving the meal packages. Plus it is race headquarters, results posting and post race celebration/awards ceremony location.

* There is one room left that sleeps two at the Old Parkdale Inn Bed and Breakfast. Reasonable pricing and great hospitality! Located only about 8 miles from Cooper Spur Resort. You can call them at 541-352-5551.

* Finally for those looking for the more rustic option you can camp at Toll Bridge Campgrounds (site of the 2002 Oregon State Championships). They have RV and tent sights with a number of showers and restrooms. Located right on the east fork of the Hood River and 8 miles from Cooper Spur Mountain Resort. Their number is 541-352-5522. Be sure to reserve in advance some weekends they are booked.

I will be out of town this weekend but back on Monday to answer any questions or concerns. Thanks everyone and I hope to see all of you at the starting line May 29th!

Sincerely,

Chad Sperry
