PREREGISTRATION CLOSES THURSDAY AUGUST 8TH AT 9:00PM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

> The weather is looking amazing - so plan for some heat at the start and typical Sherrard Pt climate at the top (that's means both hot and cold)

The TT Cup rankings have been semi added but several folks are missing so please pre-register so we can drop you into the appropriate starting order. For those who have signed up - thank you and good luck defending your current position while moving even further up the chain!

Junior riders sign up as "Juniors" and we will sort them at the finish line given the number of entry changes that would have been needed in the OBRA registration form once we became the TT championships.

Please use caution while descending. ODOT has confirmed no construction work and reports are the roads are in generally good shape. We have asked the county about construction as well. There are reports of gravel on some corners of the descent. We are checking on that.

things are shaping up nicely and thank you to all those who have already registered and made everyone's job easier.

There will be one more starting list late Thursday or Friday morning with TT cup standings and special requests noted.

Thanks for racing!!!

Please plan accordingly if you plan to wait for your medal. Since Day-Of-Registration is allowed, medal results cannot be tallied until the final rider of that division has finished. Pre-register, race together and get your results sooner!!!

OUCH has worked for 11+ years to develop a positive relationship with the local community. It is because of that foundation and your work that the NEMCCA/OBRA Corbett Education Foundation scholarship is starting this year. While some folks still don't appreciate bicycle travel, your work and efforts have made a huge positive impression many who at first were skeptical. The creation of our annual scholarship reflects an effort we can all be proud of!

Update #2:

The weather is looking amazing - so plan for some heat at the start and typical Sherrard Pt climate at the top (that's means both hot and cold)

OBRA awards presentations will take place at the finish area so as to not wait for the results to be compiled and then come down to the finish. Please plan accordingly if you plan to wait for your medal. Since Day-Of-Registration is allowed, medal results cannot be tallied until the final rider of that division has finished. Pre-register, race together and get your results sooner!!!

Bags are again being taken to the finish line - special thanks to Jon Ragsdale who has offered to take a load up around 9:40.

As Stewart Campbell's reminder: We are ambassadors of both our sport and OBRA.  Thank you so much for all your help in remembering that!

Parking is available but limited at the finish. Parking requires a daily park fee - it is $5 cash or check put in a day-use box. Annual US Park passes are available at places like REI or Bi-Mart.

For those who have asked:  Riders start every 30 seconds. The race starts when your wrist watch reads 9:30am and the race clock reads 00:00:00 and counts upward. That means that at watch time 10:00am, the race clock reads 30 minutes  00:30:00.

Pre-registration will close at 9:00pm Thursday so a Friday posting can take place and people can plan accordingly.

Day of Registration will again be offered, but keep in mind:

In order to start on time at 9:30am, day-of needs to close at 9:00am. Please do not show up at 9:00 though since there is so much still to do

You will start in a first come first served order after the final Cat 1/2 male riders.

There are no gaps or space to "fill in" we tried this and there are either too

many people or too many blank spaces.

Oregon TT Cup order will be updated in the next update

A reminder to pre-register - same time - save money.

Safe Travels,

Ernie.

Great job everyone for a great weekend of racers, promoters, and of course - the world's greatest officials. Thank you: For making OBRA possible.

Special thanks to Trailhead Roasters for once again providing some raffle prizes that will be based on the overall finishing order!!

Update #1:

Please pre-register and know your start before you even leave the house

        Save time, save money

There is no need for pre-registered riders to check in. Just show up and race.

You will be starting in your category with the TT cup racers at the end in reverse order.

ALL DAY OF RIDERS WILL START AFTER PRE-REGISTERED RIDERS. Thank you!

Juniors are STRONGLY encouraged to pre-register so they can start early in the interests of both safety and logistics.

The weather report is looking AWESOME for Sunday !!!

The first starting list is planned to be posted tomorrow (TUE) evening. Register now.

The list will be posted to the OUCH website throughout the week.

We have been made aware that the NSA has stolen our data and the race flyer PDF link is broken.

That issue will be corrected, and the flyer link updated this evening.

Day of Registration will again be offered, but keep in mind:

You will start in a first come first served order after the final Cat 1/2 male riders.

There are no gaps or space to "fill in" we tried this and there are either too

many people or too many blank spaces.

The plan right now is to hold awards and medals at the finish area.

Pre-register and you will know you are a champion as soon as the last racer in your group finishes,

otherwise, we will have to wait for all racers in your category to finish.

NOTE: Parking at Sherrard Pt is allowed parking is limited. Also, please be aware this is a USDA - Forest Service park and a day-usage fee is required (though an annual US Park pass is recognized). There are sanitary facilities but no water. The view point though is well worth the four minute walk to the upward.

TT Cup racers have a Meryx category to register under otherwise, you will start with your regular category and group with the top 5 going last in reverse order for each category. TT cup racers must pre-register to start with their group.

The first bag truck will leave the school for the summit at 9:30 with our awesome officials. We are looking for a 10am volunteer to drive up another load to help out. Interested?

Got more questions?

Let us know!!!!

Thanks for racing!
