Lots of directions for cx lessons seem to be available for new and old crossers.
I want to let people know that I will offer anyone who is willing, my seasoned cross skills for the fast approaching season.
I offer poor form, the famous hop onto the seat instead of the smooth remount, none of that foo-foo leg between bike and other leg dismounts, sure-fire methods to contact the barrier with your foot or bicycle (fall / face plant), how to make your bike seem like a roadblock to racers behind you when carrying it and maybe most important various techniques to assure you swerve all over the course so erratically, riders will be afraid to overtake you.
There is much to learn and I can offer some insight into these important skills. I do not claim to have all the secrets, but I do have a few that I have pulled out of my bag over the years.
I also might share some little tricks regarding sneaking in an illegal beer / water / bacon hand-up without detection by obra officials. I also know some important facts I will gladly share on how to lose your fitness level. My Dr. has provided me with various prescriptions I will let you know about... so you can request same from your provider. So much to lose....so little time.
The best part of this offer is I charge nothing. I have a good area for training just two blocks from my home where we can work on these important skills. If we get a large enough group, we might even get a few folks camping over there to officiate a funky race.
No waiver needed. You participate at your own risk. Let me know if interested.
Now get out there and get into one of those classes and improve your cross results and or your fun factor.
remember to have fun!
