Girls Night Out!
Team Rubicon would like to invite any women who have never riden the Alpenrose Velodrome on a track bike to come out and learn from the best this Tuesday, May 20th at 6pm. Even if you have been out on the track before, come out and enjoy some extra advice from the most experienced track team in the northwest. Team Rubicon members will be there to help get you set up on a bike and on your way around the best velodrome in the country. If you have always been a little scared of the velodrome, don't worry as we will talk you around the warmup track and get you use to the bike before heading out on the velodrome. Our goal will be to get you all on the velodrome safely and at your pace.
Please bring a helmet, comfortable cycling clothes and regular shoes. If you have cycling shoes, you would need to bring your pedals as well, and if you have your own bike, even better as our team mechanics will make sure it is in working order for you. The cost is $10, $15 with a donation to the LAF, but if you are short on funds, please email me as we have 3 sponsor exemptions available to allow you to come for free. But we need you to contact us before Tuesday to get an exemption, and there are only three available so make sure you have one if needed.
So come out and enjoy the day with Team Rubicon, and the first 25 women there will be getting a sponsor bag of goodies, so don't be late.
