Hey All:
Today, I helped the sport of cycling in Oregon to grow, by encouraging an older fellow to return to racing. His stated goal (he hasn't raced in a while, he's been pursuing a career in literary criticism, I think) is to get in shape so that he "can beat up on poser master racers". I'm sure he'll do well, as I think he used to be a very good rider.
The sport is grown one racer at a time!
