Whatever you get, don't get the folding bicycles carried by REI! They are
flimsy and every time I ride mine it feels like I could tear it apart with
any real effort. It is probably the only product I've ever bought from REI
without complete satisfaction. (They may not carry them any more, either).

I've heard good things about Bike Friday, but have no personal experience
with them.

I'm looking into this for a road trip coming up. I'm aware of Bike Friday
and will speak with them Monday and probably visit their factory in Eugene
soon.

My demands are modest and I've heard good things about this brand. I've also
heard the name Brompton, but I don't know as much about them

TIA for any advice you may have

thanks, Jim

I'm looking into this for a road trip coming up. I'm aware of Bike Friday
and will speak with them Monday and probably visit their factory in Eugene
soon.

My demands are modest and I've heard good things about this brand. I've
also heard the name Brompton, but I don't know as much about them

TIA for any advice you may have

thanks, Jim
