This is an EXCELLENT idea! Registration lines can be avoided on race day. Remember, the numbers being issued on Wednesday night are good for ALL the GPET races AND Cross Crusade races. Sounds like a no brainer to me ;o)

The Grand Prix Erik Tonkin will be having an OBRA CX number pick up event at Bazi Bierbrasserie ( http://bazipdx.com/ ) this Wednesday, August 28th from 5pm -8pm. Bazi Bierbrasserie specializes in Belgian beers on tap. Mmmm, beer.
Come enjoy a fine Belgian beer while picking up your season number and avoid the line at the first race. If you are registered for DDCX #1 or have a series pass, you can just show up Saturday at the start line. You must show your OBRA card at the number pick up.
A few Notes about what you CAN do :
• Pick up your OBRA CX number (must be registered for the GPET series or DDCX#1 - pre-registered racers ONLY).
• Purchase a Series Pass.
• Purchase registration for David Douglas CX #1.
• Purchase an OBRA membership.
• Purchase a GPET t-shirt.
• Score a sweet deal on GPTinaBrubaker t-shirts $5!
• Drink fine beer.
Things you CAN’T do :
• Pick up your number or register without showing your OBRA card.
• Pick up a number for a registered teammate.
• Pick up a number without being registered for a GPET race.
• Pick up your number before 5pm or after 8pm.
