I'd like to race my tandem in the tandem championship at the Rehearsal Road

Race this Saturday. But Mitch Weaver, my usual tandem stoker, unfortunately

moved to San Jose and left me stoker less.   None of the other members of my

team want to ride with me after all of the horror stories that Mitch has

told them over the years. Mitch lies!

Is there anyone out there who is 5'10" ish or less who would be interested

in tandem racing as my stoker on Saturday? Previous tandem experience is a

plus. You need to be very strong since the tandem is a heavy beast. You

also need to not be easily frightened. It helps if you also aren't overly

sensitive since I am used to yelling things like "shut up and push the damn

pedals" and "get your big fat ass in gear" to Mitch to motivate him.

I know it's a long shot to find someone at this late date. Reply to me

separately if you are interested.

Thanks,

--Ted Forgeron
