Hello Everyone,
I wanted to let all of you know that registration for the Mt. Hood Cycling Classic is going well and we will see strong numbers in all the men's categories. If you have not registered and are planning to between now and the 29th please drop me an email and let me know you are coming. I want to make sure I have enough rider packets and T-shirts for everyone. If you send me you name and category you will be assured a swag bag and T-shirt. I will put out a registered rider list on Friday so that everyone can see who has signed up. Please remember that packet pick up and registration closes one hour before each category's prologue start. Drive time from packet pick up to the prologue start line is roughly 5 minutes. As some of you who have come out and pre-ridden the course are aware, weather can be a huge factor. Pack for anything. Looking at the long term forecast we will see rain/snow to 70-80 degree temps on each of the three summits for stage 5 in the next week alone. BE PREPARED!
There have been a couple of cancellations at the Old Parkdale Inn so if you are still looking for lodging you can call them at 541-352-5551. They have one room that sleeps 2 and one bedroom that sleeps 4 still available. Thanks everyone who has signed up for this years event. We are excited about putting on a great race. I hope to see all of you next Thursday.
