I've ridden my MTB many time from the 'Poose to the top of the climb. Its mostly paved with a couple rough spots. I should think the average 'cross tire would handle it without problem.

Is the Crown-Zellerbach trail rideable on 28c tires, or should I put
something wider on? How's it compare to say, Leif Ericcson? I will be
riding up to Scappoose from Portland as well.
