I have first gen PT, 28H laced into a zipp 440; got it because I have
a two other wired wheels and it was cheap enough to warrant limping
along with the old stuff.

Not sure what happened but went to ride it today at a mass start hill
climb and sure enough, it didn't work. Last time I rode it was in wet
weather.. I have another that's seven years old w/same old school cap
that's still going strong.

I swapped batteries and tried it on three different bikes with two
different heads. That's a sure fire way to trouble shoot the hub
assuming all of your other PT stuff, harnesses & heads are fine and
reading other wheels- which they are.

So I assume I've got a hub that got wet and possibly "shorted"?
Thoughts about home repair/drying it out?
