We here at the Ironclad/Yakima cycling team wish to extend our heartfelt
thanks to all of you who came and raced, heckled, helped, drank the free
beer, and endured alongside us some downright nasty conditions yesterday at
the 2nd Fazio Farms CX race. The feedback on the Facebook event page makes
us proud to have brought you such a great event so close to home.

Being an independent, non-series race is tough with such a thick schedule
of other great events, but we were thankful to all of you that came out and
raced the course we worked so hard on to make so unique. Keep supporting
the little races!

Mother Nature's curve balls made for roughly 3 tracks in 1 throughout the
day. She broke a lot of hearts, and a few bikes along the way.

We were able to raise a good chunk of money for Kira Crawford's Cancer
Offense fund as well, thank you for that, racers.

Big thanks to OBRA's officiating crew, and of course the massive prize bags
wouldn't have happened without Vanilla, Chris King, PDW, Rapha, Ironclad,
Yakima, Benchmade Knives, Nossa Familia, Stumptown, and of course we could
not have had all that liquid courage if it weren't for Paul Ferrell at
Columbia Distributing which provided us with the 3 free kegs of Tecate and
all the schwag of hats, t-shirts, etc that went along with it.

Thanks to my teammates for busting their humps for over a month to put in
the long hours it takes to build a course this unique.

And lastly, thanks to Anthony Fazio and the Fazio family for graciously
allowing us to play bikes on their private property. Though they're not too
"in the know" about bike racing, they loved seeing so many smiling faces in
the mud, rain, and wind. It's a very special event and we're lucky to have
such gracious hosts.

We may again try to do another edition in December, not sure yet. We'll
certainly be back in 2014. Hope to see you there. Thanks again for your
support this year!

Sincerely,
Ironclad/Yakima Cycling Team
