Last night around 5:30pm a female bicyclist was hit from behind while
traveling in the bike lane at Hagg Lake, down by the dam. In talking to
the off duty police officer who witnessed the accident he said the car
was doing around 50-55 mph. Having seen the vehicle, bicycle and
talking to the police I know she hit her head on the car windshield as
it was caved in about six inches and shattered the whole window. She
was conscious when life flight got to her.
Has anyone heard anything more on her condition?
