Hello all- this is Kate Ayres, and I have a dilemma. My race bike was stolen off our car (SO SAD!), leaving me without a steed for the rest of Blind Date and subsequent races this season. I am already geeking out on my new planned purchase, but I would love to ride and race meanwhile. If someone has a smallish race-worthy bike (a pit bike or a b racer) that I can borrow for a few weeks-and a few races-I will return it clean, dry, and with a quick once-over by my professional mechanic of a husband. I'll also cover a race entry fee for you! Plus you'd get good karma, my eternal gratitude, and possibly a place in heaven (depending on the component group).
